So I'm back in my hometown for a one week break. Felt mixed up, well kinda, because coming back to Johor is only when I have just completed my exams and it's time for me to relax or when it's during Chinese New Year. But here I am after weeks of entertainment with classmates. No exams also. Don't think I studied at all lo. I still have an assessment coming up in January la. Well, it may be far from long, but still...need to mug up kan. If study last minute, die la. Notes already bertimbun-timbun here. ahahahaha xD
Oh, last few weeks, I've started on LA classes, maxillary infiltration and taking impressions. Not easy at first try la. But I think i'm getting a hang of these dental stuffs. Fun la :) I'll be treating my first patient after the holidays. Kinda excited when I looked through the patient's folder though. *semangat*
Sly Gerv and some classmates are going Sunway Lagoon this Wednesday and I don't think I could join them due to appointment with my doctor. Ahhhh aku nak pergi! Nak shopping jugak!!
T.T
This is a song by our local chinese hip hop group, Manhand. The video was taken with a Digital Harinezumi LOMO camera. Cun kan? I so want that camera but it's too pricey. I think the song is nice, although I have no idea what is it about. Anyone to translate it for me?
I guess I have to be a guai zhai and stay at home for the holidays la.
Eh so no head and tail one lah this post. -__-

A Moment Of Silence
The last thing I wanna hear every day is death. It's not an easy issue to digest. Especially if it's someone whom I know, leaving this world at such an early age. I've had a few experience attending people's funeral where I often insist on having a last look at them. The once lively people whom I knew would be lying stiffly and lifeless on the coffin bed. I would close my eyes and recite a small prayer for them. I leave with a heavy heart knowing I will neither meet nor talk to the person ever again.
How fragile life could be. Appreciate the people around us as we might not see them again. Losing someone is not something pleasant. It's hurtful. Cherish every moment of life as we live.
Rest in peace my friend.

Of Being Stubborn
Don't you just detest stubborn people? They are the ones who would not listen to what people say and think that they are always at right. It's kinda nerve wrecking to deal with them because it's almost impossible for us to co-exist with each other.
Like for example, people who refuse not to tailgate. People who refuse to abide the rules. People who thinks blasting irritating music is cool. People who leave their rubbish all over the hostel and expect their room mates to clean it. People who thinks they are doing things the right way when it's clearly not. People who show you that kinda look when you tell them off nicely. The point is that, they just refuse to do what they're supposed to do and come up with lame excuses of why how blablabla.
Sometimes it can be a nightmare dealing with these people.

Same same same
"No two people are alike."
Well at least not for me. Seeing Chwarn Horng reminds me of Ser Yuan and vice versa. xD

What I Did During The Weekends
Friday ended with Medicine and Surgery classes in the evening. Had chap fan for dinner. At night, Wendy was telling me about affordable digital LOMO cameras online and spent the whole night browsing through the cameras. This time must get one. Since Mei Cher started introducing me about LOMO's (she's a pro in it), I always thought that the pictures taken were pretty nice. "Old school", as what Galvin was saying.
I woke up at noon on Saturday. I don't know why ever since I move out, sleeping felt like a luxury! I find my room pretty cosy and comfortable. Benefits of staying in a single room. He he. Had lunch and then Philip called for futsal. Washed clothes in the evening and Ah Kai brought me for dinner together with Jenn and Gerviene for ikan bakar at pekan lama. The supposedly snooker session was altered to Cyber Cafe session with us playing Left4Dead and the ever popular Counter Strike. Jenn suggested we try her Tolon Tolon, some Swedish(?) alcohol at home. Very nice! I quite like it as it smells like bubble gum xD Don't taste like any normal alcohol whatsoever. Sembang sembang and talked crap the whole night la.
Sunday morning. Gerviene's Le Run was ready to be rempit-ed. Had futsal in the morning and later followed Ah Kai to the latest attraction in SP - Tesco EXTRA! haha so sad kan. Have to do Tesco outing some more -.- There's a brand new arcade centre there!! We couldn't resist the temptation to go in! It sort of reminds me back in BP, Wai Kit and me would always challenge each other at the arcade centre. Like who wins Daytona, who's the best in Time Crisis, who puts in most basketball or who has the most powerful punch. Usually I win la, except Time Crisis, he's a pro =P But arcade aside, there's gonna be an A&W opening in SP! SP getting more and more happening already la. Wee.
We spent 2 hours in Tesco itself, browsing through almost every items and comparing it with other places. Haha so auntie like la. Went back home and died (as how Gerviene would say) on my bed. Went BLM's pasar malam for dinner with Navin and Wilander as cap fan shop did not open. Wilander had this urge to eat durian so we had some la. Lazed the whole night online while printing notes and trying to study (note- trying to). And of course, blogging :)
Boring post right. It's a journal entry, so there's nothing interesting about it la. haha.
Oh look it's 1 already. And I have clinicals at 8.30am tomorrow. I have to sleep. But why are my fingers suddenly hyeractive and does'nt want to stop typing? How ironic. When I have things to post, my brain and fingers wont't budge. But look now. OMG. Stop it.
Have to rush to the bed with wide opened eyes (I don't feel sleepy, I wanna type more).
Sleep Sleep Sleep!

Arguments
One thing we cannot escape from our life is getting involved in arguments.
I think it's redundant. What's the point?
It's a lose-lose situation. Friendships are broken. Couples breakup. Parents divorce. Workers resign. People fight. Countries engage in war. Losses and damages gained. Tell me, who's the winner?
Similar to everyone, I've been involved in arguments before. Usually it's about who's right and who's wrong. I must admit it's not something to feel good about. Sometimes I even felt like....like...doing the most unimaginable things ever. But no point kan. Do already then regret because there's no turning back.
When I was the Assistant Head Prefect, I often marah-marah the hardcore students in my school. It may be a form of disciplinary action, but I feel like there's no good karma in it. What to do, it's my duty -.- Everywhere I've been , even in National Service, arguments spark between Company members concerning whose the best in everything. When they could not come up to an agreement, they fight. Needless to say it was an unpleasant sight.
My point is, why can't people talk things nicely? Is it that hard to do so? Why waste time and energy by arguing in which doesn't guarantee satisfactory outcomes?
Guys argue a lot, even when playing Dota or talking about football. I think it has become our ego as not to lose in arguments? Fight and fight and fight, and just like all living things, only the strongest prevail. Girls also argue la. The difference is guys argue on big matter for a short period while girls argue on small matter for a long period like who bought the latest Jimmy Choo first. Haha. xD
It's been quite some time I've been trying to refrain myself from arguing. I try to put a smile on my face and and try to avoid it. There are times I felt like losing my cool, but thank god I managed to control it. So far so good la :)
To argue, it's just not nice.
Scolding cursing and shouting is not fun lah.

BIGBANG - Haru Haru
To the extent people sacrifice for their loved ones. Why can't they share their everything together? I mean, that's what the other half is for, right? Sometimes people hurt more when they are not supposed to. The girl loves him too much to see him suffer. But I don't see the benefit for both parties this way. Love's not such a simple thing isn't it?

Another Week Of Little Classes.
Being in Year 3 is so much more relaxing compared to year 2. There are more practicals, lesser lectures. I remember when I was in Year 2 I had to wake up at 7 everyday literally to attend classes. Cannot even afford to sleep late every night also because will end up 'fishing' in class. But now different la. Not every day I have class. Sometimes in the afternoon, sometimes in the morning, sometimes no class, and rarely full day class. Depends la, because there are a few groups for clinical and labs, so its kinda like inter spaced out la. Hence, our free periods. No need to wake up early every morning liao, hehe. This week I have 3 practical sessions and 5 hours of lectures only. Compared to Year 2, we have an average of 4 practical sessions and 12+ hours of lectures. Mati sia.
Anyway, I had oral diagnosis session during my lab. Learnt procedure of history taking and how to diagnose the condition of the oral cavity. Basically the patient fowards us their complaints and we then follow up with their medical and dental history, do some examinations in and out of their mouth la. Digging up active caries especially in the molars can be quite disgusting, not to mention the breath. Eeew. Had our last revision in Simulation Lab on a Class 4 composite restoration. I still prefer placing rubber dam in the posterior teeth because of water retention. For anterior teeth, water from the bur tends to flow out easily. And you need an assistant to suction the water away. If not messy la.
On Monday the Dental Students Association had our annual Lantern Festival in AIMST Campus. As usual, it was a successful one. *bangga* Everyone was enjoying themselves and after a tiring event, we rewarded our hungry tummies at the 24 hour KFC at midnight. Photos can be viewed from Facebook la. I did'nt take any pictures but my friends did. The best part for me was seeing a bunch of Kong Ming lanterns floating up into the dark sky heading towards the brightly lit moon. So lang man la.

Received our dental scrubs today. Scrubs are meant to be worn one we enter clinics and treat patients and it comes in my favuorite colour. BLUE! See how nice it is draped against my blue bedsheets..ahahhahah xD The scrubs feels like pajamas la. Not that cooling also. And I will be having three pairs of these. Meant to be worn with white school shoes. Adoi. But this is what makes us dental students yeng ma. aahhaha.
Well, apart from classes, nothing much was done. Went for futsal and random makan makan. Esok Lantern Festival. Eh wait it is already -.-
So what to do tomorrow???

I Want To
..smack myself REAL hard. Where are you when I needed you? Please stop hiding or you'll not gain anything. And you'll regret.
And worse, I' already feeling very frustrated.
Getting tired of masquerading a jovial personality.
Stop it already.
Argh.

How to?
Sometimes, funny things happen in life. What's with us having to do something for someone just because we HAD to? It's not that we owe the person or the like of that. We do it for them just because we are human. It's our instinct to help each other. Instead of saying thank you, people tell that we just had to do it for them.
???!!
And if we do not do them, they start making a fuss as if it's mandatory for us to do so.
How do we deal with them?
???!!
