sunday's slumber

another typical weekend. 'hanging out' in the room, doing some revision, online, and watching dramas. this afternoon was rather cooling, and i felt lazy to study. instead, i camped in my room, read my novel while listening to estrella, olivia ong and a little of jazz accompanied by trickling of rain upon my window. it hadnt rain for quite some time and eventually i went into slumberland....

.....but i dont know what happned to the rain and the sun is back. arrggh !!

start. studying. la.

had my first experience of eating expensive desserts (in my opinion because my typical pemanis mulut would be ais kacang or cendol. damn sad T.T) in penang the other day. obviously, given the price list, i shared the desserts with some of my friends haha see i smart kan xD.

apple crumble pie with ice cream and caramel and maple syrup at swensens. damn sweet la.

chocolate mudpie (im not too sure about the name) at chilli's

char koay teow malay style at bukit mertajam. apparently its 'jenis basah' where they used diluted satay sauce for it. this plate itself costs rm5 and its just okay okay for me only. im not sure why my friends love to eat this dish so much -.-

shall end abruptly here. my 6 inches notes are calling for me to lessen their thickness lol.

oh yeah, i almost forgot.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MUM!! =D

If you love jazz. Please try Joanna 王若琳. She's awesome. Not girly but sultry. Especially try her version of Vincent.
Or you could try Jane Monheit's Honeysuckle Rose. Jazz staple. =]

I think everything's on youtube. Wish I could finish my notes too. Happy bummin' in aimst. Ugh.

The few benchmarks for jazz, legends Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Anita O'day. For Instrumentals, try swing jazz by Glenn Miller. So good.
