Today a 22year old female patient came in with a complaint of swelling on the right palate. Swelling more than 6cm in diameter over premolar to molar region. Rapid enlargement over 1 month, paraesthesia on the right infra orbital region, tinnitus at right ear. Rubbery texture. Incisional biopsy was taken. No blood aspiration.

Differential diagnosis - Adenocystic carcinoma, pleomorphic adenoma and mucoepidermoid carcinoma.

Hope it's not the first one. Prognosis would be very bad. Patient has a year or two to live at most. She's still young! :(

Today was my sign up session. Wanted to take impression, wall build up and then access cavity for endo on 14, cleaning and shaping, and extraction of 46. So well prepared for a tension afternoon. But patient went to KL instead.

SO angry. My CMR patient some more. I don't think can be able to finish all her cases lor. Was so annoyed to hear that she's in KL but couldn't have the heart to scold the patient for missing appointments.

I was suddenly awoken by some movements under my blanket. I can feel some figure(?) crawling in between my legs up to my chest. Then I thought if it could be those dark figures which sit on people's chest and paralyze them. You know, those mythical stories. But this thing crawling up to me was quite scary. I could not move my body and tried to shout, but only whimper came out from my mouth. Forcing myself very hard to shout, I finally manage get out from the spell(?).
First time experiencing it man, so scary. T_T

Started Oral Surgery posting today. Thought it was a half day thing but turns out it's a whole day affair. Extracted my first tooth, an immobile premolar. Was kinda scary to hear the sound of perio ligaments tear but the whole process was fun actually. :) Lecturers were so patient in guiding us lah. Gonna polish up my rusted knowledge this weekend.

It was my first time going to Bukit Jalil Stadium and watching a football match live. And with our National 11 taking on the club that i support, you can't imagine how excited I was.

Complimentary training pass when you purchase the tickets.

My company for the match, Ser Yuan. Stumbled upon my high school friend, Lokman! Of all places and time. haha! And we sat together also! Talk about fate. :p Nice to meet and catch up with you mate :D

Kickoff. I was already drenched in sweat. Stadium too stuffy lah.

Arsenal's first goal taken by Aaron Ramsey. Walcott added another with his amazing speedy pace. That guy runs very very fast!

Malaysia with a free kick taken by Safiq Rahim. The inspirational captain shot a screamer from 38metres against Taiwan the week before. Superbly crazy I told you. The crowd were screaming "Taiwan! Taiwan!" as to emulate another similar one. But off target. lol.

Another spot kick inside penalty box. Bright hope of scoring one but out of target again T.T

The big guns! From left - Van Persie, Nasri, Sagna and Arshavin. They brought on fresh offence against our team.

Vela scored the third and Rosicky scored a late goal to make it 4-0.

Before the final whistle blew, Ser Yuan and I together with a portion of the crowd left swiftly to avoid later congestion in the LRT. Nice game and watching in the stadium live is so much better than watching on front of the tv!

Today I had a new complex partial denture case patient. Wanted to take an impression but there's severe cervical abrasion on the whole mouth. So after history taking, did scaling and polishing. After that did 10 Class V GIC in 1 hour. Whoah. Super speed man. I must be crazy. Due to DSA's a little off timed speed, had to do multiple CA at once. That one also the mixture too thick. Set too fast. Cannot even carve properly -____- Everything turned well in the end though. Managed to take an impression after that. But aku pening pening dan penat. Lol.

Being trapped in a room on the 2nd/3rd floor and embracing the horror of the Japan tsunami. The sky was greyish and the room was shaking. Watching the dark waves gushing past the walls. Water levels rose just in a blink of an eye I saw people being swept away along with the strong currents.I swear I was even praying for my room not to be brought down by the waves.

For the first time in my life I was so afraid of water and felt helpless around it. The first wave came and took out everything along it's path. Just when everyone thought everything was fine, the second wave struck. This time the menacing waves were toying with my will to survive. I saw a lady got pulled by the waves and her body smashed to the wall. Instant death. I even prepared to die mentally. After that, the third wave came without warning. Same thing happened.

Such absurdity. I wonder how long was I going to remain in that room, or if there's any food supply available. Or how strong the building I am in is. Or if the waves would rise high enough to come crashing into the windows and take me out. Then I opened my eyes.

I saw my room. The sun was shining brightly and the ceiling fan was spinning at it's maximum speed. Birds were chirping. So it was just a nightmare. Phew. I lay on the bed shivering but relieved as I recalled the details of the horror experience.

Even though everything about it seem so real, I am just grateful that it was just another bad dream.

If you happen to eat at a fast food joint like KFC or McD...

don't use your bare hands to enjoy your food. Because you wont be a able to find any sinks to wash after that. I had to wash mine with hand sanitizer instead. Curious, I looked around to see how other people manage their food.

They use plastic gloves instead! HK style yo. What happened to the 'finger lickin good' tagline? Like that mana boleh enjoy kao kao. LOL :/

And they don't have it with chilli sauce. Coz when we asked for some, the cashier gave us a few packets of Kimball chilli sauce and warned us not to take to much as it's spicy.

Am procrastinating with my Ortho log book report the whole night. So unproductive that I've decided to blog instead.

Crown prep in Sim lab recently. Looks simple, but not that simple. But is simple once you know the key technique to creating the appropriate tooth reduction. Aah somehow Adv Cons sessions seem more relaxed than endo, perio and restorative :p

Washed my pile of clothes together and my scrubs got stained by a Levi's shirt. Levi's man. How can a Levi's shirt colour run. And the stain won't come off my scrubs. 75 bucks burnt. Now i left 2 sets of scrubs. T__T

Attempted cream mushroom pasta during lunch after feeling like crap yesterday night and today morning. Was good :) Did not go for DSA and was kinda guilty that Gerv had to assist for me. Sorry! Was not feeling too well.

ADSAlympics Day 1-3

It's that time again. ADSAlympics. Inter batch dental sports week. Spanning a total of 8 days, it's when us dental students turn into sports school students after clinical hours.

Started off with cheerleading competition. And then basketball after that which by some luck *coughs*, managed to accomplish something, at least xD

The next day was swimming event. Had not really swam for almost a year, and the 50m sprint was really torturous. It's like I'm seeing black halfway completing the laps. Hands and legs doesn't even want to respond to me. lol. Could not even walk straight after that haha.

Today was ping pong. Had some light badminton strokes before cheering on my mates. And I'm already feeling fatigue kicking in. :(

Tomorrow's event is kinda important to me I guess. Futsal. Had my trustworthy Predator repaired and hope it does it's job well! It's gonna be a long day.

It's been a while. As you can see I'm pretty much addicted to Twitter, hence the lack of blogging recenly :)

It's the last day of 2010. Officially a public holiday in Malaysia to commemorate the national team's victory in Asian Cup.

Seriously I've never seen Malaysia played such interesting football until last week. The Japanese look-alike goalie was superb and he won the match for us single handedly. The midfield and strikers played really well together and they deserved the victory. A giant leap which reignited the passion for national team football among fans.

This was a flash mob during my dental dinner. Nothing beats dancing together with people and having fun. It's been a while since I danced due to hectic schedule everyday and routine to be adhered. Surprising as it seems, I've once dreamt of being in a street dance crew, entering competition and just having fun doing what I like. But then again, this passion might just be blown off. Sigh.

GD & TOP hiphop unit performing after releasing their album. Noticed the high waist belt TOP's wearing? Rumoured to be a trend some time in summer 2011. Even 2AM's were spotted with it from their latest album concept photos. Really anticipating for Big Bang's album in February after a 2 year hiatus.

More denture cases to be done once the term starts. Oh somehow I'm missing clinical work!

October 16th was AIMST Convocation. It was also the day the first batch of dental students graduate.

The seniors were surprised to see so many of us waiting for them when they came out from the Great Hall.

My Monday Mornings Are Cursed

I think, at least. That's because for 3 consecutive Mondays, my patient ffk-ed me. Argh there goes my partial denture case. So wasted to do nothing but to round around looking for patient on a operating session.

And when I thought I had some scaling and restoration to do today, the office lost my patient's folder. Due to the protocol and the way things work over at the polyclinic, I was not allowed to touch the patient at all. I had to bring the patient to do a screening and took an X-ray all over again to produce a duplicate folder. So time consuming running to every department to get things done. By the time things were in order, I barely had time to do any scaling at all.

Fourth Monday ruined again, hohoho.

On the brighter side, clinical sessions has been increased to 6 times a week. Effective next week. How am I going to find time labs to construct dentures lah.

So close to working life. Now I don't get any time for afternoon nap already.

Somehow I feel like a working person already. With the current clinical schedule almost everyday, I'm already asleep by 12 and awake by 7, automatically. Even on weekends. My parents would be so proud of me. xD Clinics take up a large portion of our week, with just two afternoons available only for lectures. Other than that, you can see me in scrubs.

We usually sleep late but now it's a norm not to see my classmates in Facebook or MSN after 12, because they're in slumber land as well. Oh well.

The best place to relax after a hectic day of clinics and treating patients. The sports complex. I feel revitalized every time I come here. Be it badminton or swimming or any sports, I get the feeling of being young again. Eh I sound like an uncle lah. Haha -___-

Treating myself to authentic Korean cuisine in SP on a weekend dinner. If only it snows over here, the kimchi stew, barbequed pork belly and fresh soju would be just...awesome altogether.

Nowadays, Saturdays and Sundays seems to pass faster than cooking Maggi because dreadful Monday comes knocking at us earlier than usual. Mondays have been quite frustrating for me recently. Watched 71 : Into The Fire this afternoon to lift up my mood (konon). It's based on a true story about student soldiers fighting off the North Korean forces somewhere in 1950. It was a pretty good movie, and Big Bang's TOP was the lead in it. Strongly recommended for those who like war related movies :)

Did you know about these? Express bus related accidents never fail to irk me, considering the fact that I travel frequently on night bus. When will they every learn? Sigh.

For the first time I came back home after 2 weeks of academic term. Pecah record. o.O The midnight bus I took yesterday had chair massage! But the air conditioning system made me freeze the whole night. There's cold air coming from nowhere even after i closed the vents. I could hardly sleep well.

Last 2 weeks I was in KL and stayed in Ser Yuan's place before heading back to SP to avoid the super long and taxing journey.

We went bershopping in Bukit Bintang and had a hearty dinner in Jalan Alor in one full solid day. Ate smelly tofu sold nearby his place before retiring for the night. And was so reluctant to go back to SP when I was waiting for the bus in Bukit Jalil.

Began my fourth year dentistry. There's clinics almost every day and very few lectures already. Played futsal at night. Had Co-Cr denture design workshop in the first week itself.

Went for some food/leisure outing in Kulim and Penang on the first weekend with classmates.

This is the road that we have to go through in Kulim...

Just to have fresh fish caught from the pond! But the fishes were seriously good lah. :)

Went to Queensbay after that to catch a movie. I opted to skip the movie to be a loafer in the mall, window shopping and munching on food whenever possible.

This was taken during my housemate, David's birthday. He's the one on the left and that's Wilander in the middle. Our first house picture after staying together for 1 year. -__-

Attended the Merdeka eve celebration in AIMST and never felt so young. The campus was so happening that night. Hahahaha. It was certainly fun being a hostellite again. xD

Watched Step Up 3 and had Tao's with the classmates during Merdeka. The movie was sooooo good and I seriously don't mind watching it again! :D

Hopefully I can find the time and commitment to dance again!

And now that I'm back home, it's time to rust! :D

The holidays are drawing to an end. So fast? Argh!

There goes my 12 hour sleep per day, stress free loitering around, and freedom of gluttony eating.

Not quite in the mood yet to start classes.

Was in Malacca last 2 weeks with MC, Wendy and Chris to makan angin. Thanks to Wendy who brought us around, this is my first time in the historical city properly. I do frequent there with my family when I was a kid, but it was usually a quick one. So this time I did explore more about Malacca although time was a little short.

It ended up as a food trip as me and Chris wanted to try as much food as we can. -__-

Started off with Taiwan beef noodles and pork ribs, then went for some cold tong sui to counter the afternoon heat.

Satay celup is a must when you visit Malacca. It's my first time trying though. The concept is something like lok-lok, except that the sauce is a little spicy and ressembles something like the satay peanut sauce. Since it was a Saturday, Capitol (said to have the best satay celup in Malacca) was super over packed, people were even queing up to the road. We decided to go to another satay celup place instead. Still, it's nice also what! :)

Went to Jonker walk that night. Had cheap and delicious sushi before laksa and more food. They sell a lot of cute stuffs there though. The vendors were pretty friendly, contrary to Petaling Street. Cendol is another must-not-miss item. Topped with loads of sinful gula melaka which are just as thick as glue, I'd say - the rate of dental caries will increase! Rapid enamel demineralisation you know! Hahaha! xD

And then we had fried carrot cakes, fishball noodles, egg tarts, snacks and many many more that I've lost track on what we ate. It was raining at night, and ate ramyun again after playing Happy Family cards (MC?!) before we call it a day.

Got this super cheap nunchucks! 2 for 10 bucks!

Nadeje's french mill crepe. Situated near Pahlawan. We took the original and cheese something something. Sedapz! Can fight with Secret Recipe's but the drawback is that it's a little pricey.

Okay abrupt change of topic. :D

Did the blood test for my thyroid. Bad bad news. T3 and T4 are very high, TSH <0.01.

My drugs in which I must treat them like sweets. My supply for 2 months. This is crazy! :S
I think I need a second opinion for the thyroid already. It's been more than 2 years that I've been taking medicine everyday. And everytime the dosages has been tapered to the minumum, it comes back again. And then I lose weight. Hands tremor. Heat intolerance. How lah like this.

It's been raining these few days in BP. I wonder how is it over there in Sungai Petani. Hopefully it will be the same!

Starting my fouth year on Monday. Will be taking a bus back there on Sunday. Embrace the long journey up North!

Aih so reluctant. :(

Last Month Stuffs

So long already! I'm halfway in my post final holidays, savoring every moment at home. Every day, waking up without anything to worry about. How delightful :)

2 more weeks before I start my 4th year. Seriously, the holidays are too short. Boo.

What I cooked for lunch during study break. Simple and yummy! Gonna try hokkien char next time. And also pasta and and and! :D

World Cup was held during the midst of my finals. Was determined not to watch as it disrupts my studying. But surrendered to temptation in the end.

Matches were held At 7pm, 10.30pm and 2.30am. Usually I'd watch the earlier matches, important matches only lah. As for the early morning matches, I'm already sleeping like a log by that time. I'd be dead if I watch every match though.

Munching chips while treading through my notes and watching cool matches via streaming. Yeah to the power of 4MB! Oh that's heart failure I'm reading. Focused so much on heart topics but the cruel lecturer's set up eye popping questions for exams instead.

When I'm tired of studying, I look outside my window. The hot air blows into the room and in no time, I'm drenched in sweat. Stupid SP weather.

And when it gets unbearable to study in the room, I opt to study in air conditioned empty cafes which so that I can become superman again. LOL xD Such peaceful ambience perfect for the brain. :D Again, that's the Antibiotics chapter which I studied and did not come out. Aigoo.

Went Langkawi for our post finals class trip. Watched the World Cup Finals there as I watched in agony how Holland was so near to be crowned the champion. Argh! :(

The magnificent view atop Mount Mat Chinchang where you need to ride a cable car to get up there. As I'm acrophobic, the ride up was so tense! Especially when the gondola makes it's way downhill.

Finals in less than 3 weeks time. Having almost the same routine everyday. Clinics, labs, study (trying very hard to despite the lack of motivation to do so, ugh), online and plenty of sleep.

The first time us clinical students wore dental scrubs out of the hospital! It was for some year book cover lah. Everyone looked so happy :) Infection control gone haha.

I noticed that I become superman when I'm studying in the library or in air conditioned cafes. Superman as in more productivity lah. When in the room, I become hampalang (??!!) man -__-. I evaporate under the intensity of the SP heat in the room . Mass decrease in productivity like a constipated cat LOL xD

See the big ass sweat drop on a midnight. -.-"

Starting study break next week. I seriously need the discipline to study my gluteal off. But World Cup is starting THIS week, how?! :(

ps: Oh, cooking can be very therapeutic. Especially the expression of people who really appreciates your food, so satisfying. But cleaning up is not lah, hahah! xD

Last month was the ADSAlympics, an inter batch sports week among dental students which lasted nearly 2 weeks. A brief recap on what happened :

- Never I thought that I would be in a cheer leading team let alone a flyer (the one who gets tossed and do cool stuffs in the air) and get champion for it. The entire thing was new for me, and becoming a flyer wasn't as easy as it seems. Forging trust with the bases (those who are supposed to toss and catch the fyler) is essential. And getting smashed on the hard ground was a painful experience for me, but it worked out well in the end lah.

- I suck at basketball. I still prefer to shoot hoops like I do in arcade centres. haha xD
- I can't freestyle in swimming. I think I might be able to do a breaststroke sprint in future.

- Failed to defend the bowling title for two years. Didn't play well (because never train T.T), but just enough to get something.
- Played dodgeball for the first time in my life. Girls and guys are in a same group and the guys are allowed to hit the girls. Felt awkward to hit the girls because my dad always kills me whenever I used to hit my sis way back when I was small. He said that guys should not hurt girls, so..yeah. A very ganas game.

- Badminton! Aih, Waikit, Seryuan and Yongkuan would be very disappointed in me. Totally lost touch in it. Everything felt so new when I held the racket. This is what happens when you don't train, you get punished. :(
- Woke up early on a Sunday morning for treasure hunt around the whole campus. Running around under the scorching SP sun wasn't a good thing to do, but getting second was rewarding somehow.
- Lost touch at sprinting. Was coping up with fatigue.

- Played one of my best games in futsal. Was so nervous that I had difficulty sleeping the night before. Supposed to play as the midfielder, ended up as forward. Netted 7 goals in 5 games, enough to get the golden boot and an injured foot. Hohoho xD Managed to enter finals but as luck had it, we lost. Aiyah. But was really satisfied that all the training paid off lah.

My faithful Predator which did not disappoint me. I looked like crap after the tournament which lasted more than 6 hours.

ADSAlympics was so tiring that I wish it would end but now that it has ended, I wish there was ADSAlympics so that my evenings won't be uneventful -__-

But it's time to focus on finals already.

On The Night Bus..

- I couldn't sleep because the bus keeps stopping and there's this baby who makes so much noise. Sorry but I'm not a person who fancy babies, for now
- I saw two foreign workers being mistreated by the bus authorities, and cursing them. I feel bad for the those people
- I kept playing G-Dragon's But I Love You because the radio played on the bus was annoying
- For some reason I felt dizzy throughout the journey
- I realised the only time I get to sleep in an air conditioned environment was on the bus, not in my room
- It took 4 freaking hours to reach Pudu from BP, which is reachable in 2.5 hours by car
- Mohan's bus left earlier than mine but texted me saying that his bus was in Perak while I was already in Butterworth
- I strained my neck because I kept turning to the right while sleeping
- I passed by KL at 12am, and I thought KL was beautiful
- My mind was full of ADSAlympics
- I drank only a bit of water because the bus seldom stops for toilet breaks
- Watching the brightly lit moon while listening to Barry Manilow's Can't Smile Without You made me emo. What the
- I felt heavy to leave home but at the same time looking forward to seeing things to come

Pulau Jerejak

Went to Jerejak Island a few weeks ago. What started out a a small trip for a bunch of bored guys ended up where almost half the class tagging along. Located off Penang Island (just opposite Queensbay Mall), we got the daily package that includes all sorts of activities like wall climbing, suspension bridge, junge trekking, archery, cycling, flying fox, beach games, return ferry, buffet lunch and free usage of the facilities there.

Reached the jetty terminal around 7 plus in the morning. Managed to catch the breathtaking sunrise with the view of the Penang bridge.

Due to some misinterpretation, we only get to board the ferry at 8.30am. But these excited people (my classmates) don't seem too bothered with it.

Upon arrival, we settled down and played some beach games. Then we started off with wall climbing. Again, these semangat-ed people wasted no time in doing stretches. xD I've never tried wall climbing before, but I must say that it was quite an experience. There were 3 levels of difficulty, and the wall that high, 25 feet i think? I thought the 1st level was peanuts. So I was determined to conquer till the 3rd level difficulty, cos they looked harmless. *semangat*

Malangnya, I failed halfway up T.T

There's some kinda special technique to use, but everytime I put my fingers into the holes, they just slip out. I was told that those holes are not meant for us to hook in, it's to guide us up and our movements have to be swift. It's urh..I don't really know how to explain lah.ugh. The point is that it's the holes that's causing these problems. Aih.

The suspension bridge spanning about 60 meters, I think? 5 persons are allowed at a time. My first time crossing a suspension bridge (those bridges I made during scouts don't count lah).

Fyling fox! Haha, I'm no stranger to this, cos I have already done it like sooo many times before. =) The length and speed was not that chi kek as compared to my NS camp (it was about 9 storeys high with a length of 150 meters).

Obstacle course! It's like an adult playground to me. I don't know why but I get excited whenever I get to do these obstacle. It's all Scouts and NS fault haha xD They have half of the complete course like tarzan swing, monkey rack, commando's crawl, cargo net, 8 feet wall and jumping obstacle. Always the most challenging one would be the monkey rack. In NS, I had to carry a 10 kg bag and get through it. Slip your fingers, and you would end up in the muddy water.

Lazing around after lunch. Digesting the lamb and pudding in my stomach. This is so relaxing hahaha.

In the afternoon, some of us (including me) went for a guided jungle trekking. It wasn't really jungle trekking, if I had to say. We were melting under the scorching heat. Got to know some exchange students in the process. We walked some 3 kilometres and saw the prison ruins. Oh this is a cemetery we passed by.

The prison ruins. Jerejak Island was once used to keep prisoners during WWII (I forgot for what reason already), and due to uncontrolled hygeine, there was an outbreak of leprosy and tuberculosis.

Reached back and planned to do some archery and jungle cycling, but the hot weather tempted us 100% to jump into the pool. Ended up playing water polo for 2 hours plus -___-

As evening approached, we cleaned up and strolled around while waiting for the ferry. The management here are quite efficient that they make sure you don't miss your ferry. We saw the sunrise in the morning and in the evening, managed to witness the sunset. Beautiful lah. That's Penang airport for the record.

- because hot water comes out from the faucet, throw a bag of ice cubes in the tub when you bathe
- sleep naked!
- head south to Genting
- listen to cold jokes. oh this is so lame i know
- wear singlet, short pants and slippers when in SP town
- wash your clothes and utilise the heat to dry them
- drink lots of cooling water
- you see every AIMSTer ranting about the weather on Facebook
- throng The Carnival, the only water theme park here
- air cond air cond air cond! haven't you realized still how essential this is?
- eat lots of cold watermelon
- throw water balloons at each other
- it's hard not to fall asleep in the freezing lecture rooms

Camping Deprived

Was browsing through my pictures when I was a scout during secondary school. It suddenly occurred to me how I've missed camping and scouting.

This picture was taken during Expedition Badge Examination. We had to hike 40km by foot and stay overnight at a designated campsite. I was the one leading this group oh yeah xD Can you spot the then me?

The tent building, cooking, making gadgets, playing games, campfire burning, night activities, lying under the stars and endless ghost stories. Good times. :)

This Is Not Good

I was pondering what I had missed out in life. Where even the smallest things that money could not buy. Seeing happiness painted on people's faces, I wondered if I had any and yearn for it.

I would be having a bad time, and people would be having a great time. I would work hard just for nothing, where people would get something from nothing. I would try to please people, but they think that they are the ones that should be pleased. I would make an effort to work things out, but people would not appreciate it.

I think life's pretty unfair sometimes. Things are quite shaky at the moment. It was easily shown during a game of cards with friends just now.

Strolling along the park at BLM alone, enjoying the cool breeze, appreciating the glittery stars under brightly lit moon and watching the train pass by, that's the best moment for me to do some soul searching.

Carmen once told me that girls have a lot to think about.

I'd say guys too.

I would choose to be independent if I could, rather than being dependent.

I would rather face the hardship myself than to trouble people.

But sometimes I could not. I do feel helpless, turning to people to help myself. It's not a good thing okay.

There are times where I really wanted to help the ones in need, but it's an agony being able to do nothing.

And sometimes it ponders upon me if I'm such a useless person.

I'm no no of a gay but I kinda like them, seriously. -__-

Not really like lah, but like as in envy them. They can sing, dance, have the looks, and are multi-talented in other aspects as well. With the existence of these kind of people, how not to get jealous? xD Not from their infamous Sorry Sorry hit, but discovered them while I was watching some Korean variety shows on Youtube some time ago. Back then, I didn't even know who they were.

But when they showcased their songs and dances (maklumlah I suka tengok orang dance), I got more and more interested about them.

And it was when I got into K-Pop. That was when I also discovered Big Bang, SNSD, SHINee, 2PM, After School, Epik High, SS501 and so on. Boy they make good music! *glee*

I do have a number of their songs in my media player and listening to them do makes me feel...refreshed? LOL.

Oh, and I have never attended a pop idol concert before. Still anticipating the chance to attend one though.

Think gotta miss this one then :(

- Shopped in KL.

- Had an informal trip to Genting with some classmates. Went to casino and enjoyed the weather there.

- Holidays ended. Classes and clinics started. Attended lectures and treated patients.

- Continued the futsal ritual at midnight. Such a great form of relieving stress.

- Saw how my Arsenal fell to the hands of Manchester United and Chelsea :(

- Celebrated Chew Weng and Navin's birthday @ TGIF and Bagan.

- Snooker sessions.

- Had jelly lens to be played with.

- Sat on the bus for about 30 hours in total within 1 week. Traveling lah.

- And going back in a day's time for Chinese New Year. =)

Was youtube-ing random videos and came across this video clip on a gang fight somewhere in JB. One of the gang members slashed the other helpless unlucky gang member with a samurai sword. Damn traumatising lah.

I remember the last time I witnessed a gang fight was during my NS time. Not really a gang fight, but it's like 30 people walloping a guy. This guy tried to act boss in the camp by verbally threatening and bullying people (due of his stout build). There's an incident of him offending this small framed dude, but little to his knowledge, this guy was a state rugby player and has several kang taos in the camp. So that night they gang up and decided to teach this guy a lesson. I could clearly remember that I was munching on my chipsmore while witnessing the fight (it happened just outside my dorm only). But it was a quick one lah. Everyone dispersed when the trainers came and check upon us.

So the conclusion is, janganlah gaduh.

What I Have Been Dreaming...

..this whole week has got to do with people. Just people. It's kinda weird because whenever I sleep, be it afternoon nap or night sleep, they just come into my dream. Mostly my secondary school and university friends, my family, and occasionally some strangers. We would be doing random things together. For a moment I would be scolded, and the next thing I would be laughing. And then scolded again. And laugh again. -__-

As much as I try to shrug of my dream, these people still keep appearing. It's said that because our brain is still active when we're asleep, that's why we dream. But I was so mentally exhausted preparing for exams, and how come I'm still dreaming, the SAME thing?!

I think that this period was the hardest in this term. Yeah, it is because it's the exams! Exams guarantees misery every single time. Studying what we've learned for the past 5 months was..urm..an experience xD Medicine, Surgery, Oral Radiology, Endodontics, Public Health, Oral Pathology and Local Anaesthetics notes flooded my table and brain everyday. The last 2 weeks before the assessments especially were torturous.

Torturous till we had to play a 2 hour futsal with seniors in the middle of the night. Releasing our stress on the kicking of balls, scoring goals, rolling on the floor, running aimlessly and shouting around the court accompanied by thumping hip hop music was so..therapeutic. The best stress relieving method. So much for studying, haaaahahhaha.

Any effort put in is always worth being rewarded. And this could be seen in all my classmates faces after the final paper today. We all deserve a real good holiday. Goodbye caffeine (I still don't think it works for me lor). No more forcing myself waking up early in the morning. Well, at least for now :)

Gonna have a productive holiday already!

Happy New Year people! A year older, a year wiser xD

Hoping things to get more interesting this year, with more to experience and achieve.

Ended the year by hanging out with Alvin and Wendy (I think they were the only ones in BP, no?) at night, that one also balik awal. I was driving on the road when the clock hit 12. Nothing much happened in BP, things were pretty normal. Tried to study after that. Studying at home this time seems a bit of a problem in the day. House renovation going on two doors away. So noisy -__- *excuse* But really lah!

Secondary school friends called for lateh session just now, most of them I had not met for a long time. But apparently it's too 'late'. My family curfew says cannot. Sigh, damn sad la. Don't ask me why. Sorry guys, but hope can meet up during CNY like that lah.

Going back SP tomorrow! Argh, I dread traveling long journey by bus alone. Gotta load up my Walkman phone with the latest hits to entertain myself tomorrow. Sleeping on the bus is gonna be a pain in the buntut. Life's gonna get busy once I get back. Pay bills. Study for assessments. Treat patients. Shopping for groceries (and maybe some REAL shopping, hopefully). Dan lain-lain.

Phew. Gonna start packing now. There. My first post of the year. Hahahaha. *proud*

Express Bus Mayhem

Long before today, people relied on public bus to travel around. Then came expresses buses offering affordable and reliable services. This was where it all began. Accidents on highway involving express buses began to pile up. Who can forget the infamous Konsortium (which was already blacklisted that time, I think?) to get involved in another freak accident on the way to KL from north last year? Some of my classmates who witnessed the incident with their own eyes now prefer to drive or take flight back, rather than taking bus.

Bus drivers are taking their jobs for granted. Bus companies only focus on profit by not screening the selection of bus drivers. During festive season especially, they want to reach their designated destination as soon as possible and in the process, they tend to be very reckless. As a consequence, innocent people are killed. They don't deserve to die okay.

And lately, Sani express bus crash killing 10 people and injuring others in Sungai Perak due to drowsy bus driver. It really gives me chills just to think if I were in that situation *touch wood*.

Sorry this is a pretty random post because it came across my mind that I do travel to my campus up north in Kedah by bus quite regularly. Imagine spending half a day alone on the bus just to get to my destination. Sigh. I should consider taking flight in future since it's so much affordable now.

Minute Updates.

Anyeong! Life's pretty preoccupied recently. :) I'm gonna be nice and upload some pictures this time. See I'm so good :D

Classes as usual. Did scaling and restoration during clinics. Found it interesting though, it's because I get to learn things in the process also lah. Root Canal Treatment in Sim Labs. Not really sure what was I learning/doing, all I could remember was taking x-rays, screwing (literally!) and screwing with files. And take x-ray again. And keep inserting gutta percha. Then fill it. -___- That's Endodontics to me.

Been playing futsal quite regularly. Thanks to my Predator, my feet don't hurt as much as they used to.

Wai Kit and Ser Yuan came up all the way from Johore to visit me. Brought them tour around places of interest and tried famous food in Penang and the beloved Sungai Petani. Realised Penang roads are not as hard to navigate as I imagined it was. Except around Komtar, the roads there can die one. Other than that, just follow the signboards and you won't get lost.

Had our third Annual Dental Dinner in Equatorial Hotel Penang. Everyone wore their best that night. Food was okay okay lah. Ballroom was way bigger compared to last year's in G Hotel. The best part was no doubt the final band performance by the final year students who never fails to impress us. They even belted out some Christmas songs for their encore.

Part of my class. Could not find everyone to take a decent class picture because random people keeps disappearing. Prof Ferguson and Prof Comfort were hiding behind there. So cute xD

Went MOIS after dinner, the final year seniors partied kao kao. It's their final year already mah. I think there was more than 30 dental students who flooded the club that night. Bacardis or Chivas, I'm still not really used to drinking. Salute those *cough* seniors *cough* who can drink yo.

Always unsure what will happen, not sure to make it happen.

The lack of strength to execute.

Tons of things to talk about, tons of things curious to know.

Without any response, I can't expect myself to know anything.

And it irks me. You know, I feel so useless and helpless.

I'm so tired already.

So many things to focus, or is it that I'm just bad at planning things.

Please give me 48 hours per day.

Travelling Week and Classes In Between

This week is gonna be energy zapping. Clinics on Monday, Sim Lab on Tuesday, DSA on Wednesday, Hospital visit on Thursday, Oral Radiology on Friday. Still okay, but Wai Kit and Ser Yuan will be coming over all the way from BP to melawat me during the weekdays. Have to play host to them for three days, bringing them exploring Penang and SP. Attend practicals the following days.

Will I even survive? LOL

Not sure even if I can wake up.

Cannot ponteng la.

Turning energy mode ON!! *semangat* xD
